Our Story
First opened in 1967 as Ed's Fix-It Shop, this cornerstone of the Lake Cowichan community has been locally owned and operated for over 60 years. Later rebranded as Ed's Outdoors Shop, it was a favourite spot for hunting and fishing gear among locals until its closure in 2012.In 2019, we purchased the business and re-opened as Ed's Coffeehouse, updating the building while honouring its history by modifying the original sign and logo.Today, Ed's is a place where locals and tourists alike can come together over good coffee and good food.
